Inspired

Vacation is awesome. Today, I spent the morning at a bead shop in Oberlin called Bead Paradise II – Studio on Park. that had more beads than I could have checked out in a day let alone an hour. I walked out with some stuff, but because of the many deals earlier this week, I didn’t have a ton of cash.

This evening, I spent using some of my recent inspiration to make my sister a set with some heirloom jade from her mother-in-law. I must say, I have not been a huge fan of gold lately, but making this set reintroduced me to jade.

I was so excited when I finished this that I entered a holiday gift making contest at Michaels with this project.
